PowerON Services Celebrates its Sweet 16!

PowerON Services, Inc. celebrates its 16th birthday this year, and like every healthy teenager, it continues to grow, test boundaries, and dreams of an even brighter more exciting and greener future. PowerON, which spent it’s first 10 years as mostly a mail order reseller of new and used electronics equipment has swiftly developed in to a reverse logistics industry leader; becoming a real value added service partner for both retailers and manufactures alike by providing a complete audit suite of solutions. They applied those early years of resale expertise to transform used and excess overstock equipment into a real source of revenue for their customers, all while diverting products from the waste stream.

In 2009, PowerON Services Inc. was recognized as the fastest growing privately held Computer Hardware Company in America by INC Magazine, and was also named a 2009 WRAP award winner from the California Waste Management Board for applying workplace green solutions and reducing the amount of waste being sent to landfills.

2010 promises to be an exciting year as well, with offices opening in Europe and even more turnkey reverse logistic solutions scheduled to launch.

“Each year has provided it’s challenges,” explains CEO, Brent Kelley, “managing our company’s growth while exceeding our customer’s expectations has been key, and growing this much in a down economy really speaks to the team we have in place. We have a hard-working, innovative group here at PowerON, and I believe if we continue pushing the boundaries and encouraging innovation, the possibilities are endless.”

While PowerON thinks turning 16 truly is sweet, they will hardly pause long enough to blow the proverbial candles out. PowerON will continue to focus on excellence in the quality of their products, services and their team while they continue to explore new markets and evaluate market trends. As the current industry leader and with the promise of more cost effective, green solutions for their clients on the horizon, they are sure to have many more birthdays to celebrate well into the future.
